A Traveling Carpenter's Trailer

“I just finished building my tiny house on a trailer in western NC and thought I would share. It was built using all sustainable materials from the area, nothing pressure treated or finished with chemicals. I am a traveling carpenter who spends a lot of time on the road and this is going to be far more enjoyable than staying in a hotel! Your books are great and definitely a huge inspiration.

Thank you!”

No toilet. I am usually on the road so finding one is rarely an issue. It is built on a 7′ x 10
trailer and weighs around 3500. Thanks for all the kind words!

  5. Hi, love this ! what did you use for the walls ?

The back wall is untreated pallets collected around town & the rest is T&G cedar. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for sharing …great job. I’m just beginning a TH project myself, and you’ve given me a great example of how to incorporate pallet wood. Your choice of wood is excellent …what was your source ?

That is a great layout for a small place. I have a 5×10 trailer and have been researching layouts for a traveler. Thanks for the pictures
