Kind of late notice, but we just got a request in for contractor bids for this West Oakland Urban Farm And Park Project. They need to be filed by tomorrow morning (Thursday, May 7).
I work at City Slicker Farms, an Oakland non-profit working on food self-sufficiency. We’re now accepting contractor bids for the new West Oakland Farm and Park Project that will be built this year. It’s late notice, I know, but I’d love it if you and your readers got involved with the project!
Important Details (full information in the bid invitation here):
- A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, 5/7/2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the project site at 2847 Peralta Street, Oakland, California. Project staff will be available to answer questions related to the bid documents and the project. Participation in the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY.
- In general, the work to be performed includes but not limited to demolition, tree removal, earthwork, excavation, paving, storm drain, utility construction, landscaping, trees, irrigation, park structures, fencing & gates, site elements and furniture, site lighting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire sprinkler, etc.
Also, thank you so much for your building books; they’re truly inspirational.
