Jacob Adler of Sheldahl, Iowa, built the home you see above on his own. Though the house is not livable yet, according to NBC 13, Adler plans to move with his 275-square-foot home to Colorado later this year, where he will build similar houses for people who also want to keep their living costs super-low.

Its a cool house but as I get older my tolerance for hyperbole has diminished,. 275 sq ft is not “insanely Tiny” for a tiny house in fact its on the bigger end of the scale but I guess if you are in Iowa and your standard is 3000 sq ft maybe that would seem “insane”. I hope Jacob has success with his business.

Having more than what one needs, plus the associated high costs, is insane. Unfortunately it is VERY difficult to find a small home of < 1000 sqft in general, and 500 sqft or less is even more rare. Wish tiny houses would become mainstream, but alas, I don't see anything like that happening for the long haul.
